Global Challenges Forum India Organizes National Dialogue on Peacebuilding in Northeast India

Over 40 Students Across India Participate in Poster & Essay Competition. The Global Challenges Forum India (GCF India) proudly hosted its national-level initiative titled “Dialogue: The Key to Peacebuilding in Northeast India”, aimed at empowering youth voices to champion peace, dialogue, and cultural integration in one of the most vibrant yet sensitive regions of the country.

Through this initiative, GCF India invited young changemakers to reflect on the power of dialogue as a tool to resolve conflict and promote harmony in the Northeastern states. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with over 40 students from across India joining the movement through Poster and Essay Competitions.

Winners Announced

After careful evaluation by the esteemed panel at GCF India, the following students emerged as top voices for peace:

COMPETITION DETAILS:

Poster Competition

(The poster must reflect the theme and convey a message promoting dialogue and peace in the Northeast, focusing on cultural harmony, conflict resolution, or community building)

Participant Eligibility: Open for all the students from schools and colleges under the age bracket of 15-24 years.

Medium: Digital posters of A3 size are acceptable

Content:  Must include a title, tag line and short description of the concept in English.

Originality: All work must be original and not copied or adapted from

Date of submission: entries must be submitted by 3rd February 2025 (Extended)

File Type: JPEG with a standardized file name (e.g., “Name_College_EssayTitle”)

Supporting Documents: Age proof, and a declaration of originality (plagiarism check).

Essay Competition

(Essays should be in English Language addressing the theme of peacebuilding, dialogue, and cultural integration in Northeast India)

Participant Eligibility: Open for all the students from schools and colleges under the age bracket of 15-24 years.

Word count: Typically between 1000-1500 words.

Date of submission: entries must be submitted by 3rd February 2025. (Extended)

Last Date to participate: 25th January 2025. (Extended)
